May 24, 2017 · Audi > D2 > 1997-2003. Body Exterior. 60 - Sunroof Sunroof motor zero position, adjusting. Motor is removed. Harness connectors connected. Move rotary control to "roof closed" position. Sunroof motor runs to zero position and switches off automatically. Install motor in this position with sunroof closed. But I’ve had issues with customer’s Audi’s where I’ve had to reset them individually because it wasn’t adapting from the master switch, especially if you can’t actually roll the rear windows down from that switch itself to do the reset. Turned out the post that the wiper mounts on, under the c-clip,washer and O ring had crud in it. Took the wiper arm and mounting stuff off and sprayed some lube on it.
